This is a quick but very entertaining read. The book is centered around Anna who recently became a widow. She is in a deep depression and just trying to get through each day. Her sister Julie is a big help to her, but nothing seems to take the pain away. At her husbands funeral Anna has a vision that leads her to believe that her husband was murdered. At the grave side of her husband during the service she notices a stranger watching her. She asks her brother in-law about the man staring at her, one she feels compelled to talk to. Her brother in-law Dan tells her to stay away from the guy that he looks dangerous. But Anna is drawn to the man and before leaving she just can not stop herself from going over to him. The stranger has something to tell her, but Dan comes to her side and makes her leave before the stranger can deliver his message. Things get crazy for Anna right after the encounter with the stranger. She is being stalked by a killer and the stranger turns up at her house and then again at her husbands office when she goes to clean out his office. The Stranger (Eli) convinces Anna to trust him that he knows what happened to her husband and will tell her if she will accompany him to a safe place. She agrees and she is taken to a secret compound and told about her true ancestry and what really happened to her husband. It seems Anna is a Nephilim and part of an old prophecy. Things heat up between Anna and Eli pretty quickly. I can not go into too much more about the book without giving everything away. If you like paranormal then this is a good read. I would not recommend for younger reads due to some sexual content seventeen and older I think. This book is part of the Nephilim Warrior Series.

I totally dig this book! I went into this book blind and found myself drawn in from Chapter One.

Funeral, flashes of death, mysterious sexy can't-look-away-man, overprotective brother-in-law drew my attention quickly. Anna is a young widow who is gifted with an ability that allowed her to see her husbands death. What she wasn't prepared for is who or what she saw kill him. She is stalked by a mystery man who claims to be protecting her and knows who killed him and why they did it. She finds out a huge untold truth about herself and her world gets thrown in all sorts of directions. She can't explain the pull she feels for this stranger or why she feels so attracted to him. But wiat...there's more!

Prophecy Of The Female Warrior took me by surprise. I figured that it would be similiar to all of the other Nephilim related books out there but found that it stands out from the rest. K.A. added passion and heat to her story. I liked how she pulled our main gal in two directions not knowing which way to go. My most favorite character is Elise. She is spunky, sweet and reminds me of a certain friend of mine who shall remain nameless(Yellow Ninja). She always has Anna's back no matter what and I love that about her.

K.A did an amazing job on the beginning of this series and I can not wait to read the rest of this series!

This was a great story with an interesting new race, and it started out great! Unfortunately, at about 75% she decided to make the bad, evil guy just a misunderstood brother.

Really? He's just misunderstood even though he's been working with the one's who murdered her husband. Oh and let's not forget he kidnapped her sister, but it's okay because he didn't hurt he. Oh, wait, she went into shock and started having convulsions but that doesn't really count, right? He just used that as a way to blackmail a promise from her. So then not only does she try to throw in a love triangle, but she throws us an extra guy because two after the h is not enough.

I think that this book had so much potential but the author just lost her way a bit at the end.

This book was not bad, I actually really enjoyed the first half, but the second half kind of killed a lot of my enjoyment of it. But if you don't mind this kind of ending, and no real happily ever after you'll love this book.
I originally got this book because it was free and sounded like a book that was right up my alley. Let me tell you it definitely is a great book to read and I couldn't put it down. Especially since this is the first book that I have read that dealt with Nephilim type characters. So when I knew this was going to be a part of a series I was happy. The author has taken "housewife" Anna and has her whole world turned upside down as she's known it; even though she has always thought something was different about herself but always tried to keep it on the back burner. That is until that unfortunate incident where she learns reasons behind it.
You soon find out why the book is named Prophecy of the female Warrior and that Anna is actually a Nephilim Warrior. I enjoyed reading this book, who does not love books that have to do with warriors of any kind. In this book your reading about an offspring of a very interesting mating. Talk about mating, there are some great hot scenes in this book!
The author did an excellent job with the flow of the story and the plot details. She not only had a great story but she also had a strong relationship struggle and action which added more friction in the story. As the story ends for the first book, there are questions I was asking myself; but, the good thing is book 2 and 3 are already out so I didn't have to wait to keep reading. If you love paranormal reads then I think you should definitely give this great read a try. I think that I will definitely keep my eyes open for more books by K.A Young!! And the best part is you can try the first book out for FREE.
