A Study Guide for Book Clubs The Book Thief The Reading Room Book Group Notes eBook Kathryn Cope
I couldn't help reading The Book Thief with our discussion group in mind. There were so many points at which I wished there was someone I could share with in the moment. The discussion guide was an excellent way to jog our memories to important points in the book that might have been forgotten. The questions posed were thought-provoking and got right to the core of what we each responded to. This was a great guide to an even great story.Product details

A Study Guide for Book Clubs The Book Thief The Reading Room Book Group Notes eBook Kathryn Cope Reviews
Reading the guide was almost as much fun as reading the book itself, also very helpful in conducting the book group.
Although all of us are aware of the horrific atrocities by the Nazi regime in WWII, this book is a perspective of what the non-Nazi Germans endured during this period. The central character (the book thief) is focused on her love of reading, her family and several non-family members who she cherishes. A wonderful read!
Excellent tool to incorporate in book group discussion. Also good summary for quick review if someone has not read the book or it has been a while since reading.
Helpful for discussion.
We used the book for discussion at our monthly book club. It gave us a lot of insight on the author
An easily read and to the point review. Historical background brief but very helpful. Will use one of these guides again.
My book club read this and we had the most informative discussion about this war. I highly recommend it.
